VenzaiStudio is Now BuildNyxen: Why We Rebranded Our YouTube Channel

Why We Started as VenzaiStudio

When we first launched our YouTube channel, Nyxen did not exist as a brand. We were building Venz AI, our first product — an AI workspace for prompt optimization and structured workflows. VenzaiStudio was a natural name at the time. It described exactly what the channel was about: the studio behind Venz AI.

The early videos were focused on product walkthroughs, AI prompt engineering techniques, and development logs showing how we were building Venz AI from scratch. The channel served its purpose. It gave us a home to document the process and connect with people who were interested in AI tooling.

The Problem with Product-Specific Branding

As our ambitions grew, so did the limitations of a product-specific channel name. We launched NyChat, our anonymous ephemeral chat platform. We had ideas for more products across different verticals.

Suddenly, VenzaiStudio no longer represented what we were doing. People visiting the channel expected Venz AI content exclusively. When we posted about NyChat or talked about broader startup topics, it felt disconnected from the channel identity.

This is a lesson that many early-stage startups learn: branding around a single product limits your long-term growth. If the parent company evolves — and it should — the brand needs room to evolve with it.

The Birth of Nyxen

Nyxen was established as our parent startup studio identity. It sits above all of our products and represents our broader vision: building consumer-focused technology products that solve daily frictions.

Under Nyxen, we operate multiple product lines:

  • Venz AI — AI productivity workspace with prompt optimization
  • NyChat — Zero-signup anonymous chat with ephemeral messaging
  • Future products we have not announced yet

With a unified parent brand, every product gets its own spotlight while sharing the same engineering philosophy and design language.

Why BuildNyxen

We considered several options for the new channel name. We wanted something that:

  • Clearly communicated the parent brand
  • Felt action-oriented and energetic
  • Worked well across social platforms
  • Was available and consistent with our other handles

BuildNyxen checked every box. It signals exactly what the channel is about: the process of building Nyxen and its products. It aligns with our existing X handle (@buildnyxen) and Instagram (@buildnyxen), creating a unified presence across platforms.

The word "Build" also reflects our philosophy. We are builders. We document the process, share the wins and failures, and invite our audience to follow along.

What Changes for You

If you were already following VenzaiStudio, nothing changes on your end. Your subscription carries over automatically. You will simply notice the new channel name, profile, and branding the next time you visit.

Content Roadmap Going Forward

The rebrand is not just cosmetic. It comes with an expanded content strategy:

  • Product Development — Deep dives into how we design, architect, and ship our products
  • AI Engineering — Practical tutorials on prompt engineering, LLM integrations, and AI workflows
  • Full Stack Development — Real-world coding sessions, architecture decisions, and technical walkthroughs
  • SaaS Insights — Lessons learned from building and shipping SaaS products as an independent studio
  • Startup Journey — Transparent updates on growth, metrics, challenges, and milestones
  • Behind the Scenes — Raw, unfiltered looks at what it takes to build a product company from scratch
  • Building in Public — Every major decision, pivot, and launch documented in real time

The Philosophy Behind Building in Public

We believe that building in public is one of the most honest ways to grow a company. It forces accountability. It creates genuine connections with your audience. And it provides a running record of your journey that others can learn from.

Not every video will be polished. Not every update will be good news. That is the point. We want to show what building a technology company actually looks like — not the curated highlight reel, but the real process.

Looking Ahead

BuildNyxen is more than a YouTube channel. It is the documentation layer of our entire startup journey. Every product launch, engineering decision, design iteration, and strategic pivot will find its way there.

We are committed to making this channel a resource for anyone who is interested in:

  • Building technology products independently
  • Understanding AI tooling from a practitioner's perspective
  • Learning full stack development through real projects
  • Following a startup studio's journey from early stage to growth

If any of that resonates with you, we would genuinely appreciate your support. Subscribe to BuildNyxen on YouTube and follow along as we continue building products people love.
